Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today attended the consecration ceremony (Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav) of Shri Shri Raneswar Ramchandi Temple organized by the Kolta community at village Jhagarpur in Lailunga development block of Raigarh district. The event was held in the premises of Swami Atmanand Government Hindi Medium Higher Secondary School, Jhagarpur, where community representatives warmly welcomed the Chief Minister with a traditional garland and tilak ceremony.

On the occasion of the temple’s consecration, the Chief Minister offered prayers to Goddess Ramchandi, seeking peace, prosperity, and happiness for the people of the state. He said that visiting the sacred land of Jhagarpur filled him with spiritual peace. This temple, he added, is not only a symbol of devotion but also a strong representation of the community’s cultural consciousness and unity.

The Chief Minister said that the soul of India lies in its culture and traditions. “Where women are respected, there dwells the divine,” he remarked. Emphasizing that parents are the true form of God, he said that when parents are happy, all deities remain pleased. He urged everyone to maintain respect and a spirit of service toward the elders in their families.

CM Sai stated that the state government is working with a commitment to good governance, transparency, and development. E-governance initiatives have been launched, and continuous action is being taken against corruption. He informed that within 18–19 months of assuming office, most of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s guarantees have been fulfilled. Farmers have received two years’ pending bonus payments; the paddy procurement limit has been increased from 15 quintals to 21 quintals per acre, and the support price has been set at ₹3,100 per quintal.

He added that under the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, women are being provided assistance of ₹1,000 per month. As many as 18 lakh houses have been sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. CM Sai further said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today launched two major schemes with an outlay of ₹35,440 crore – the Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana and the Mission for Self-Reliance in the Pulses Sector. He stated that continuous efforts are being made to strengthen irrigation facilities, increase agricultural productivity, and ensure rural prosperity. The land registry system has been reformed to bring new levels of transparency and accountability in governance. “Our goal is not merely to make schemes,” he said, “but to ensure that their benefits reach the last person. The trust of the people is our greatest capital.”
