Indian women’s cricket team visits Mahakal Temple:Players offered prayers and sought blessings from Baba Mahakal for victory in ICC Women’s World Cup

The Indian women’s cricket team visited the renowned Shree Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain to participate in the Bhasma Aarti and seek blessings from Baba Mahakal ahead of the ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup on early Wednesday morning. The team spent nearly two hours in Nandi Hall, taking part in the rituals and receiving the divine blessings of Lord Shiva. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur leads the team Led by captain Harmanpreet Kaur, the team included prominent players such as Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, Pooja Vastrakar, Ritika Rawal, Harleen Deol, Shri Charani, Sneha Rana, Renuka Singh Thakur, Amanjot Kaur, Kranti Gaur, and Radha Yadav. All team members performed the rituals formally and sought spiritual guidance and blessings for success in the tournament. Temple honours the women’s team The temple management committee honoured the team for their visit and presented them with gifts and prasad as a token of blessings. The players prayed for victory in the ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup, hoping to carry the divine energy into their matches. ​
