During the event, Principal Secretary Borah gave a detailed presentation on the initiatives undertaken in Chhattisgarh for the development of Scheduled Tribes (STs) and Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) under the PM Janman Yojana and the Dharti Aaba Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan. Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki Collector Tulika Prajapati also shared insights on the district-level development work being carried out for tribal communities. In addition, four districts—Mohla-Manpur, Balod, Dantewada, and Dhamtari—received the ‘Screen Felicitation Award’ under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, highlighting the effective implementation of tribal service and training programmes across the state. Chhattisgarh has made significant progress in recent years in improving tribal education, skill development, healthcare, and training. The Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan has enhanced administrative efficiency, while the PM Janman Yojana has substantially improved the living standards of tribal communities. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and tribal development minister Ramvichar Netam congratulated the departmental officials and field teams for the achievement. The Chief Minister said the award reflects the dedication and commitment of those working tirelessly at the grassroots level to advance tribal empowerment. Dhamtari and Koriya districts were also recognised for their exemplary performance, while Lalit Shukla, a state trainer from the Tribal Development Department, received an award in the individual category. The ceremony was attended by Union Tribal Affairs Minister Juel Oram and Minister of State Durga Das Uikey.
