Life is incomplete without education. Education is not merely a means to get a job but the path to a successful life. Education is the key mantra of social development. Whether it is the art of living, business, agriculture, or any other field — education plays a vital role in achieving success in every sphere. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai expressed these views while addressing the oath-taking and Diwali Milan ceremony of the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Manikpuri Panika Samaj, held at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the capital Raipur.

Chief Minister Shri Sai administered the oath to all newly elected office bearers and extended his greetings and best wishes to them. He said that since its inception, the State Government has been consistently working in the field of education. At the time of the state’s formation, there was only one medical college, whereas today around 15 medical colleges are functioning in the state. Similarly, prestigious national and international-level educational institutions such as IIT, IIIT, IIM, Law University, AIIMS, and CIPET have been established in Chhattisgarh, providing both education and opportunities to local students.

The Chief Minister further said that today there is a need for society to stay united because only a united society can strengthen the nation. He mentioned that the Panika community has made an incomparable contribution to art and literature since ancient times. During the world-famous Bastar Dussehra, in the ritual of Kachandevi, the girl upon whom the goddess is believed to incarnate also belongs to the Panika community — a matter of great pride for the entire community.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the guiding principle of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas (Together with all, development for all, trust of all, and efforts by all). Under his guidance, the state government has been continuously working for the welfare of all sections of society for the past 22 months. We have launched several initiatives — Krishak Unnati Yojana for the benefit of farmers, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to provide permanent houses for all, Mahatari Vandan Yojana for the empowerment of women, and Teacher Rationalization to address the shortage of teachers in remote areas.

On this occasion, Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Mati Kala Board, Shri Shambhu Nath Chakravarti, also addressed the gathering and congratulated all the newly elected office bearers.

The event was attended by the President of the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Manikpuri Panika Samaj, Shri Bharat Das Manikpuri, along with other community representatives, public leaders, and a large number of dignitaries.
