Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and his wife, Smt. Kaushalya Sai, offered Arghya to the rising Sun today at the Chhath Ghat in Kunkuri, Jashpur district, on the auspicious occasion of the Chhath Mahaparv. The Chief Minister extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state, wishing for their prosperity, well-being, and happiness. He said that Chhath Puja is a symbol of Sun worship and social harmony. The Chief Minister expressed that it was a great privilege for him to participate in such a deeply spiritual and devotional festival within his own constituency. He further informed that an amount of approximately ₹5 crore 17 lakh has been sanctioned for the beautification of the Kunkuri Chhath Ghat, which will enhance facilities for devotees. On this occasion, Collector Shri Rohit Vyas, Superintendent of Police Shri Shashimohan Singh, public representatives, and a large number of villagers were present.
