Union Minister of Tribal Affairs, Shri Jual Oram, paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai at the Chief Minister’s residence office. Chief Minister Shri Sai welcomed Shri Jual Oram to Chhattisgarh and presented him with a Bastar art memento and a shawl as a token of respect.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Shri Sai discussed various issues related to the development of tribal communities in Chhattisgarh with the Union Minister. He informed Shri Oram about the initiatives being undertaken by the state government for the overall development of tribal communities, including efforts in health, education, and employment. The Chief Minister also highlighted the rich tribal culture of Chhattisgarh and said that the government is taking all necessary steps for its preservation and promotion.

Union Minister Shri Oram appreciated the ongoing efforts of the state government for the upliftment of the tribal population.

On this occasion, Minister for Tribal Development Shri Ramvichar Netam, Minister for Forest and Climate Change Shri Kedar Kashyap, MLAs Shri Kiran Dev and Shri Purandar Mishra were also present.
