CM Dr Mohan Yadav Honoured “Son Of Narbada” Addl DCP Shailendra Singh Chouhan

CM Dr Mohan Yadav has Honoured the Meritorious Service Award to Additional DCP (Bhopal Crime branch) who is known as a “Narbada Putra” Shailendra Singh Chouhan on the occasion of Independence Day at Bhopal.

The result oriented and visionary officer with thousands of Qualities Mr Shailendra Singh Chouhan has lead several significant operations from the front against crime in Bhopal.

Key Operations and Achievements

• Counterfeit Currency Racket: Addl DCP Shailendra Singh Chouhan led efforts in busting a counterfeit currency racket involving an MBA and an engineering graduate who were printing and distributing fake Rs 100 notes in Bhopal.
• Drug Busts: Under the leadership of Shailendra Singh Chouhan the Crime Branch has apprehended individuals with MD drugs, ganja, and other narcotic substances as part of the “Nashe Se Doori Hai Zaroori” campaign.
• Objectionable Videos Recovery: In one operation which was leaded by Addl DCP Shailendra Singh Chouhan, objectionable videos of women were found on the mobile of one of the accused and CM Dr Mohan Yadav publickly appreciate the working of Shailendra Singh Chouhan and his team efforts.

It’s to be here that the he Meritorious Service Award medals has been recognised by the central government and the announcement is made on January 25 and August 14. This year, before Republic Day, 21 officers and employees from MP have been selected to receive medals from the President.
