Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the grand conference of the Kalchuri Kalar community held in Ratanpur, Bilaspur district. He offered prayers to Lord Sahasrabahu and Bahadur Kalarin Dai and inaugurated the conference. Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister said that for the overall development of Ratanpur, a proposal of ₹200 crore has been submitted to the Central Government under the PRASAD scheme and is likely to be approved soon. He announced the establishment of a 100-bed hospital in Ratanpur and approved ₹1 crore for the construction of a community hall for the Kalchuri community. The program was presided over by Health and Family Welfare Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal. Culture and Tourism Minister Rajesh Agrawal, MLAs Dharamlal Kaushik and Amar Agrawal, Sushant Shukla, Atal Shrivastava, Sangeeta Sinha, Zila Panchayat President Rajesh Suryavanshi, CREDA Chairman Bhupendra Savanni, Yoga Commission Chairman Rupanarayan Sinha, and Mayor Pooja Vidhani were present. Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Sai said that the Kalchuri dynasty ruled Ratanpur and several parts of the country for around 1200 years and ensured prosperity and public welfare during their reign. He said that by the grace of Maa Mahamaya, rapid development is taking place in Chhattisgarh. He stated that Chhattisgarh is a resource-rich state with vast mineral, forest, and water reserves. The government aims to lead the state further on the path of progress with public participation. He said the government has completed almost all major promises under “Modi Guarantee” within just 22 months of governance. Speaking further, he mentioned that the government is procuring paddy at ₹3100 per quintal as promised and under the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, around 70 lakh women are being provided ₹1,000 per month. He added that the Central Government has set a target to make Chhattisgarh completely free from Naxal violence by 31 March 2026, and significant progress is being made. Development works have been accelerated in previously affected villages, reconnecting many regions of Bastar with mainstream development. Discussing industrial development, he said that the new Industrial Policy has received appreciation nationwide. Investment proposals worth ₹7.5 lakh crore have been received, including major projects in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and semiconductor manufacturing. The policy emphasizes job creation and provides special incentives to industries generating employment. He urged citizens to benefit from these policies. The Chief Minister said that the government has issued Vision Document-2047, and achieving its goals requires participation from all sections of society. Presiding over the event, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal noted that Ratanpur was a major center of Kalchuri rule. The Kalchuris undertook welfare-oriented works like constructing ponds, roads, and irrigation systems, and the present government is continuing these traditions. He thanked the Chief Minister for naming a square in Nava Raipur after Lord Sahasrabahu. Culture and Tourism Minister Rajesh Agrawal emphasized that Indian Sanatan culture stands for social harmony and equal respect for all deities. Chief Minister Performs Prayers at Maa Mahamaya Temple Before attending the conference, the Chief Minister visited the Maa Mahamaya Temple, performed rituals and prayers, and prayed for the prosperity and well-being of Chhattisgarh.
