The Jandarshan program held on Thursday at the Chief Minister’s residence once again became a center of hope for people. Citizens from various districts arrived with their issues and met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. The Chief Minister listened attentively to every applicant and instructed officials to take immediate action.

Right at the beginning, 11-year-old Poonam from Raipur drew everyone’s attention. Suffering from cerebral palsy, Poonam was assured by the Chief Minister that she would be admitted to a special school and provided a scholarship.

During the program, Ankush Dewangan, an artist from Bhilai, showcased his unique marble artwork. He presented the Chief Minister with the world’s smallest marble statue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The microscopic lens attached to the frame made the artwork even more remarkable. Appreciating his talent, the Chief Minister said that artists of Chhattisgarh possess extraordinary abilities.

Manish Khunte, a specially-abled youth from Raipur, also arrived on his battery-operated scooter to meet the Chief Minister. Just a few days earlier, the same scooter had been sanctioned for him through the Jandarshan program. Manish thanked the Chief Minister and clicked a selfie with him. His joyful smile moved everyone present.

Young sportspersons visiting the program also sought support. Members of the Women’s Self Defense Organization requested voluntary grants. The Chief Minister assured them that the state will not allow any shortage in promoting sporting talent. The players shared that they consistently represent Chhattisgarh in national and international competitions.

During this time, Pintu Sahu, a specially-abled rugby player from Abhanpur, requested assistance to purchase a wheelchair and sports equipment. The Chief Minister immediately approved ₹90,000 in financial aid. Pintu said this support is a new beginning for his sports career.

Several women, senior citizens, and farmers also attended the Jandarshan. Applications related to housing, medical treatment, social security, scholarships, and employment were submitted. The Chief Minister directed officials to resolve all cases on priority, with clear instructions that no applicant should return disappointed.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister said that Jandarshan reflects the sensitivity and accountability of the state government. He added, “We strive to listen to the problems of as many people as possible and provide on-the-spot solutions.”

By the end of the program, a large number of people expressed satisfaction with the prompt and practical resolution of their issues. They said that this system gives them confidence in a government that not only hears them but also takes immediate and concrete action. As a result, the sense of trust, transparency, and public participation has grown even stronger.
