Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the “Chhattisgarh 25 Years – Remarkable Journey” program held today in the state capital, Raipur. On this occasion, he spoke in detail about the state’s 25-year golden journey of development and said that every citizen has played a vital role in Chhattisgarh’s progress. The Chief Minister said that the state government is working with full commitment to fulfill the dreams of the people.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the double-engine government has taken decisive steps to eliminate Naxalism, which has obstructed development in Bastar and other parts of the state. The establishment of security camps has ensured access to development even in remote and difficult areas. He stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the guidance of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, the efforts being made have led Naxalism towards its end. Bastar is now returning to its original, fear-free form and will contribute more strongly to the state’s development. Shri Sai added that through events like the Bastar Olympics and Bastar Pandum, the world has witnessed the culture and talent of Bastar. A new era of peace, prosperity, and happiness has begun in the region.

The Chief Minister said that the government’s zero-tolerance policy against corruption is being implemented with complete firmness. Strict action has been taken against irregularities and corruption that occurred previously, and the results are visible to everyone. He noted that under the leadership of former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh, effective measures were taken to eradicate the curse of hunger by providing grains to poor families. Today, the government is providing housing to needy families. The Chief Minister said the government is continuously working to fulfill the vision of good governance of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The Chief Minister highlighted that almost all guarantees given by Prime Minister Modi have been fulfilled. The important ‘Charan Paduka Yojana’ for tendu leaf collectors has also been restarted.

Referring to the attractive provisions of the new industrial policy, the Chief Minister said that investment in the state is steadily increasing. The state government has received investment proposals worth more than ₹7.75 lakh crore so far, which will accelerate employment generation and industrial development in the coming years.

During the event, the Chief Minister also honored various institutions and individuals who contributed to the development of the state. The program was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, Chief Minister’s Advisor Shri Pankaj Jha, Chief Minister’s Press Officer Shri Alok Singh, and a large number of intellectuals and prominent citizens.
