Meaningful discussion held on expansion of sports facilities in Chhattisgarh Indian cricket team batsman and international player Rinku Singh paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today at the Chief Minister’s residence office in the state capital, Raipur. The Chief Minister welcomed Rinku Singh by presenting him with a shawl and a symbolic idol of Nandi. MLA Shri Sushant Shukla was also present on the occasion. Chief Minister Sai congratulated and extended best wishes to Rinku Singh for his remarkable sports performance and his significant contribution to the Indian cricket team. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on Chhattisgarh’s rich culture, traditions, and the efforts being made to give new direction to sports in the state. The Chief Minister briefed Rinku Singh about the concept of the Bastar Olympics and the emerging local talents identified through it. He said that the youth of Chhattisgarh possess immense potential, and the state government is continuously striving to promote sports.
