“Gita Bhavan to Develop As Cultural, Literary Hub” “The Cabinet has approved the Geeta Bhawan installation plan of the Urban Development and Housing Department. Under this scheme, Gita Bhavans will be established in all 413 urban bodies of the state in five years. The scheme will be implemented under the Public Private Partnership, Hybrid Annuity Model, Service Charge Model.“The plan is expected to cost between Rs 1,351 crore and Rs 2,875 crore in five years. Gita Bhavan will be developed as a hub for cultural, literary and social activities. The Gita buildings will be established as centres of universal ideological study with religious texts, literary books. Cities with a population of 5 lakh will have auditoriums with a capacity of 1,500 and cities with a population of less than 5 lakh will have an auditorium of 1,000 capacity.
