Do the construction of Surbhi Gaushala on priority says Bhopal Divisional Commissioner Shri Sanjeev Singh The instructions were given by Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Singh at the Review Meeting. Mr. Sanjeev Singh, Divisional Commissioner, Bhopal has said that the construction work of Surbhi Gaushala at Barkhedi Abdullah should be completed on priority and the quality works should be completed on time in a planned manner by prioritizing the various construction works of the Gaushala. Bhopal Divisional Commissioner Sanjiv Singh further said that there should be no difficulty in tasks related to interdepartmental coordination. The tasks should be completed in coordination. Divisional Commissioner Shri Singh was reviewing the construction works of Surbhi Gaushala in the auditorium of the Commissioner’s Office.Divisional Commissioner Mr. Singh said that the bhoomi pujan of the Gaushala was performed by the Chief Minister. The construction of the Gaushala is one of the priority works of the Chief Minister. No shortage of work should be left to be completed. Necessary arrangements should also be made for the operation of the Gaushala. Preparation for tenders and other tasks should be made in advance for arranging cow’s food. Divisional Commissioner Mr. Singh enquired about the construction work of the Gaushala. It was informed in the meeting that in the first phase, the construction of the Gaushala is to be completed by December with an amount of Rs 14.48 crore. Arrangements will be made to keep a total of 10,000 cows in the gaushala, in the first phase 4 sheds will be ready to keep 2,000 cows. Each shed will house 500 cows. There will be open space in front of each shed. There will be two sheds ready for sick cows, one ICU and one general ward. In addition, a feed shed, a calf shed, a water tank and a sumpbell will be built. Offices and residences will also be built in the Gaushala. Joint Commissioner (Development) Vinod Yadav, Swami Achyutanand Maharaj, officials of MPEB, PHE, Municipal Corporation, Smart City, Veterinary and concerned departments were present in the meeting.
