Quick commerce company Zepto to launch ₹11,000 crore IPO next year. The company has submitted preliminary documents to market regulator SEBI. Notably, Zepto has chosen the confidential route for its IPO. Zepto’s move is expected to increase competition in the quick commerce sector and offer more options to customers. The IPO will be listed on the main board. If all goes well, Zepto will become the third listed company in the quick commerce sector after Zomato and Swiggy. Zomato was listed in 2021, while Swiggy made its debut in November 2024. Meaning of filing DRHP Filing a DRHP (Draft Red Herring Prospectus) through the confidential route means that the company shares its documents with SEBI first, but detailed information is not immediately made public. This allows the company to receive feedback and make necessary changes. Zepto has completed the pre-filing process and is expected to inform stakeholders about it tomorrow.
