Bureaucracy: A Pillar of Dedication

The recent Republic Day celebrations shone a spotlight on exceptional public service with several distinguished civil servants being honored with Padma Awards. This recognition underscores a lifelong commitment to the nation, extending far beyond the call of duty. For instance:

• Retired IPS officer Inderjit Singh Sidhu, recognized as the ‘Broom Warrior’ for his civic contributions, received the Padma Shri.

• GAIL India was honored with three ICPA Awards for its financial prowess and leadership.
