• Former IPS officer Inderjit Singh Sidhu, at 88, received the Padma Shri for his civic efforts, a true ‘Broom Warrior’.
• Former IPS K. Vijay Kumar was awarded the Padma Shri for his significant service, including his role in ‘Operation Cocoon’.
• Veteran Central Secretariat Service officer R.V.S. Mani also received a Padma Shri for his lifelong commitment to the nation.
