Madhya Pradesh Police has enhanced the state by winning 06 medals 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze, Under the guidance and team leader ship of IGP SAF Indore Range Chandrashekar Solanki the MP Police team has created a history by winning the 6 medals. DGP Kailash Makwana has felicitate the team at PHQ ADG SAF Chanchal Shekhar, IG SAF Indore Range Chandrashekhar Solanki and other senior police officers were present on the occasion DGP Kailash Makwana awarded medals in PHQ and gave away certificates to the winning players. MP Police has earned 06 medals while excelling in the 44th All India Police Equestrian Competition and Mounted Police Duty Meet. This prestigious competition was held from 15 to 27 February 2026 at Border Security Force Academy, Tekanpur.21 teams of police and paramilitary forces, 345 horses and 700 riders participated. DGP Mr. Makwana has appreciated the brave horsemen of the team and announced a proper reward to all the participants. The DGP said that this success is not only the result of the hard work and discipline of the team, but it is also a testimony to the professional efficiency and excellent training system of MP Police. The DGP emphasized on continuous practice and high level training for more outstanding performance in the future. Shri Ghanshyam Prajapati has earned a gold medal while demonstrating excellent horse management in the ‘Seas Test’ under the competition.The team’s principal rider constable, Shri Faraz Khan, showcased his versatility and won a gold medal in the cross country event. In addition, he has won two silver medals in Police Horse Test and Cross Country and two bronze medals in Mental Hazard and Show Jumping Grade-03 events. He has also enhanced the respect of Madhya Pradesh Police by securing fourth position in the show jumping pre-preliminary event.
