A SpiceJet Boeing 737-700 aircraft was involved in a ground incident while taxing at Delhi airport on April 16, causing damage to its right winglet and the left-hand horizontal stabiliser of another aircraft. The airline said the aircraft has been grounded in Delhi following the incident. Akasa Air flight forced to return to the bay. Akasa Air said its aircraft operating flight QP 1406 from Delhi to Hyderabad had to return to the bay after the incident. Preliminary information suggests the Akasa aircraft was stationary when it was struck by another airline’s aircraft.
