Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has emerged as one of the country’s top-performing leaders, securing 41.9% approval in his home state in the latest C Voter survey on governance. The figure reflects a 2.9 percentage point rise since February 2025, placing him second among chief ministers of large states and underlining the growing confidence in his leadership and governance style. The surge in approval is closely linked to Sai’s hands-on governance approach and the recently concluded Sushasan Tihar (Good Governance Festival). During the initiative, he travelled across the state, directly addressed grievances through special camps, and ensured speedy implementation of schemes. The outreach not only accelerated delivery at the grassroots but also exposed administrative shortcomings, which were promptly addressed. Administrative reforms, including e-Office adoption for faster clearances, anti-corruption measures, and stricter monitoring of district collectors, have strengthened public trust. The rollout of major welfare programmes such as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Mahatari Vandan, and Krishak Unnati Yojana has provided tangible benefits to poor families, women, and farmers. Transparent recruitment drives, new investments, and job creation have further boosted optimism among the youth. Sai’s investment promotion tours to Japan and South Korea, coupled with the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect programme, have highlighted the state’s potential before global investors. Agreements in food processing, electronics, and manufacturing are expected to generate employment and enhance local industry competitiveness. Simultaneously, rapid progress in roads, irrigation, power, and industrial infrastructure has given fresh momentum to development. Cultural programmes such as the Rajat Jayanti Mahotsav, Teeja-Pora Mahotsav, and Swachhata Sangam have also reinforced Sai’s connect with people, blending governance with tradition and social ethos. Reacting to the survey, CM Sai said the achievement was a result of people’s trust and cooperation. He assured farmers, workers, women, and youth that the government would continue to work with full dedication and honesty to fulfil their aspirations and dreams. He expressed confidence that Chhattisgarh would set new benchmarks in development and good governance in the coming times. With nearly half the state’s citizens now expressing satisfaction in his leadership, Vishnu Deo Sai has consolidated his standing as a leader who combines honesty, accessibility, and decisiveness. His rising approval reflects not only faith in his government’s welfare delivery and reforms but also growing confidence in Chhattisgarh’s journey toward stability, growth, and a stronger national presence Post navigation HDFC Bank Q4 results:Consolidated net profit rises 8.04% to ₹20,350.76 cr; declares dividend of ₹13 per equity share of ₹1 each CS Vikas Sheel The Architect of Administrative Excellence Steering CG’s Growth Story
