In the Nashik TCS harassment case, the main accused Nida Khan allegedly pressured a female employee to convert her religion and change her name to “Hania”. For this, the victim was allegedly given a burqa and Islamic books, which have been seized by the police. According to the police investigation, this claim has been made. It is also alleged that apps were installed on the victim’s mobile phone to influence and encourage her towards religious conversion. Media reports say that her educational documents were taken away, and there was also a plan to send her to Malaysia on the pretext of a job and place her with a person named Imran. The police said that the search for Nida Khan is ongoing. Nida had also filed an application for anticipatory bail in the Nashik Sessions Court, citing a two-month pregnancy. The court refused to grant her relief. 8 arrested in the case In this TCS office case, a total of 8 accused have been arrested so far. Most of the victims are from middle-class families. Their age ranges between 21 and 30 years. They worked at the associate level and earned a monthly salary of ₹20,000. Victim engineer alleges harassment during Gudi Padwa A female engineer victim has accused 5 individuals of continuous sexual harassment, stalking, and hurting religious sentiments between June 2025 and March 2026. She said one of the accused made derogatory remarks about Hindu deities. The woman employee alleged that her team leader inappropriately touched her during training sessions. Another accused allegedly misbehaved with her in the office pantry during Gudi Padwa. She also claimed that objectionable comments were made about her married life. TCS has stated that the company follows a zero-tolerance policy against any form of harassment and coercion. Employees involved in the sexual harassment allegations at the Nashik office have been suspended. The company also said that in its initial investigation, it did not receive any complaint from any female employee through its ethics or POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) channels. It further announced the formation of an oversight panel for an internal investigation and the involvement of external agencies. ​
