Two people died and five others were injured after a fire broke out at a resto-pub in Mysore, Karnataka, on Monday. The victims have been identified as 26-year-old Shaheen from Darjeeling and 24-year-old Prakash from Nepal. Seven people were rescued from the building. Those receiving treatment in hospital include customers Sonu, Ramesh, Mahadev Prasad, Prajwal and Avinash, as well as the pub owner, Preetam Pumeet. The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed. According to initial reports, the fire may have been caused by a short circuit at Fox Den Liquor Garage Bar and Restaurant near Netaji Circle in the Dattagalli area. More than 25 people were inside the pub when the incident occurred.
