Braving the rain, Bhopal Collector Priyank Mishra stepped out to inspect the city’s traffic arrangements, focusing on black spots, left turns, and road safety concerns,

Collector Priyank Mishra asked the traffic and civic authorities to prepare a comprehensive presentation identifying current flaws in the traffic system and suggesting concrete measures for improvement. The goal, he said, is to create a safer and more efficient traffic network in Bhopal.

At Ganesh Temple near Habibganj Naka, officials found roadside waterlogging — the same spot that saw hours-long jams last monsoon. At Bagsewaniya Intersection, long vehicle queues formed at every signal due to no left turn and poor waiting space.

The team also inspected Polytechnic Square, Depot Square, and Govindpura Turning.

“No excuses, we need only solutions,” Collector Priyank Mishra told agencies, setting firm deadlines.

Collector Priyank Mishra asked all agencies to finalise timelines and finish work as committed.
