The body of a tribal housewife was recovered from a field in the Palitpur Canalpar area under the jurisdiction of Dewandighi Police Station in West Bengal’s Purba Bardhaman district on Tuesday morning, triggering tension among residents. However, police said that as of Tuesday afternoon, the family had not submitted a formal written complaint detailing the allegations.
