Dr V. Narayanan Given Additional Charge as Secretary, Department of Space The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has assigned additional charge of Secretary, Department of Space, to Dr V. Narayanan with immediate effect. Dr Narayanan, who is currently Chairman of the Space Commission and Chairman of ISRO, will hold the additional responsibility till July 19, 2026.The charge has been given during the leave period of Seema Jain, IAS (Punjab: 1991).
