MHA Transferred IAS and IPS Officers Across UTs The Ministry of Home Affairs has ordered a large-scale transfer and posting of IAS and IPS officers of the AGMUT cadre with immediate effect. According to the order issued officers have been moved across key Union Territories and states including Delhi, Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Goa, Mizoram, Ladakh, and Chandigarh. In the IAS segment, several officers have been posted to Delhi, while others have been assigned field roles in Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and other regions. Officers from Puducherry, Lakshadweep and DNH & DD have also been reassigned. Among IPS officers, a significant number have been transferred to Delhi. The order also includes postings across Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Goa, Mizoram and Jammu & Kashmir. The reshuffle covers officers from senior batches to younger entrants, reflecting a broad-based administrative realignment.Officials said such periodic transfers are aimed at strengthening governance, improving field administration and ensuring balanced deployment across the cadre. The order has been issued with the approval of the competent authority and will remain in force until further instructions.
