IAS Officer Kowsigan A Appointed Director in Animal Husbandry & Dairying Department

New Delhi, July 20: The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has approved the appointment of Kowsigan A, an IAS officer of the Kerala cadre (2009 batch), as Director in the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme.

As per the official order issued on July 20, 2026, Kowsigan A will serve a five-year tenure from the date of assuming charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The Government of Kerala has been requested to relieve the officer immediately to enable him to join the new assignment.

The DoPT also stated that the officer must assume charge within three weeks of the appointment order, in line with Central Staffing Scheme guidelines. Failure to do so may result in debarment proceedings.
