Seven officers of the Madhya Pradesh State Police Service have been appointed to the Indian Police Service (Madhya Pradesh Cadre) under IPS Selection List-2025, as per the notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Director General of Police Shri Kailash Makwana conferred the IPS ranks on the officers at Police Headquarters, Bhopal, on Tuesday. Congratulating them, DGP Shri Makwana said this achievement is the result of their dedicated and loyal service. “You have done exemplary work in maintaining law and order and peace in the state. I am confident that you will continue to demonstrate strong leadership in ensuring the state’s progress and security. Let your conduct and performance serve as an inspiration for other officers and personnel as well.” He added that providing timely opportunities to deserving officers has always been the government’s priority, and this appointment reflects that commitment. The officers who were promoted are: Mrs. Nimisha Pandey, Shri Malay Jain, Shri Amit Saxena, Smt. Manisha Pathak Soni, Smt. Suman Gurjar, Shri Sabyasachi Saraf, and Shri Samar Verma. As per the MHA notification dated July 17, 2026, these officers have been allotted the Madhya Pradesh cadre and appointed on probation in the IPS. In accordance with the IPS (Probation) Rules, 1954, they will undergo a one-year probation period and mandatory induction training.
