Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, Chhattisgarh has become the first state in the country to receive incentive funding under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) 2026-27 scheme. The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India has approved Rs 50 crore to Chhattisgarh for the development of the Compressed Biogas (CBG) ecosystem in the state, recognizing its innovative efforts and effective initiatives in clean energy. A National First For ChhattisgarhWith this approval, Chhattisgarh is the first state in India to receive incentive funds under SASCI 2026-27. The funding will accelerate the growth of CBG plants, promote renewable energy, and strengthen the rural economy.
