ACC Extends Tenure Of Ravi Kumar Arora As Joint Secretary, Housing & Urban Affairs Till March 2027 2006-Batch IAS Officer of Gujarat Cadre Ravi Kumar Arora Gets 8-Month Central Deputation Extension Centre Retains Ravi Kumar Arora In Housing & Urban Affairs Ministry Until March 31, 2027 The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved an extension in the central deputation tenure of Shri Ravi Kumar Arora, IAS (2006: Gujarat cadre). Arora, currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA), will now continue in the post until March 31, 2027. The 8-month extension comes into effect from August 5, 2026. Shri Arora joined the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs in 2021. Prior to this, he served as Private Secretary to the External Affairs Minister. With extensive experience in both foreign affairs and urban development, his continued tenure is expected to provide stability to key housing and urban initiatives of the central government.
