The commitment, courage and professionalism of the Madhya Pradesh Police will receive special recognition on the occasion of Independence Day 2026, with 20 personnel being honoured with Police Medals for distinguished and meritorious service. Among the awards, four personnel from Madhya Pradesh have been selected for the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM), one of the highest recognitions for sustained and exceptional service in the police forces. The recipients of the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service are Dharmvir Singh, Superintendent of Police; Sunil Kumar Pandey, Deputy Inspector General; Anil Kumar Bhadauria, Inspector; and Raj Lochan Prasad Dubey, Constable, all from Madhya Pradesh.
