Centre Appoints 9 Advocates as Additional Judges of Punjab and Haryana High Court The Central Government has appointed 9 Advocates as Additional Judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court for a period of two years. A notification issued by the Ministry of Law & Justice, Department of Justice on 20th August 2026 stated that the President of India, in exercise of powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, has approved the appointments. The appointments will come into effect from the date the judges assume charge of their respective offices.
