On the month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ to mark PM Modi’s 25 years in public life, CM Yadav said the work done by the Prime Minister during this period has transformed India’s destiny. FROM VISA DENIAL TO GLOBAL STAGE Recalling PM Modi’s early days as Chief Minister of Gujarat, CM Yadav said, “There was a time when the United States denied him a visa. Today, under his leadership, India has established a strong presence on the world stage and engages confidently with major powers like the US and China while keeping its national interests paramount.” He said despite attempts to disrupt global trade, India continues to move forward with strength and the resilience of the Indian economy amid global challenges validates PM Modi’s visionary leadership. LAMP OF DEVELOPMENT SPREADING ACROSS COUNTRY CM Yadav said the lamp of development lit by PM Modi is spreading across the country and symbolizes his 25 years of service and responsibility to the nation. The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan will be conducted across Madhya Pradesh from September 17 to October 17. The campaign will begin on PM Modi’s birthday on September 17 with the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ programme, where lamps will be lit simultaneously at 7 PM at Mahakal Lok in Ujjain, all Gram Panchayats and every ward of urban local bodies. Efforts will be made to set a world record for the largest lamp-lighting event. JOURNEY BEGAN ON OCT 7, 2001 PM Modi’s public life journey began on October 7, 2001, when he took oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. BJP National President Nitin Nabin said India has moved “from despair and darkness” and from being counted among the ‘Fragile Five’ to becoming the world’s fastest-growing major economy under his leadership.
