Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s high-voltage investor roadshow in Mumbai turned into a big success, fetching investment proposals worth Rs 90,000 crore in a single day. The proposals, discussed in one-to-one meetings with leading industrialists and Consuls General of 7 countries at a five-star hotel in Mumbai, are expected to create 14,375 jobs in MP. Renewable energy dominated the commitments, with ACME Global pledging Rs 47,000 crore alone. Other major players like Avada Group, INOX, Air Products, Incub Ethicals and several textile and pharma majors also announced expansion plans. CM Yadav pitched MP as “Mumbai’s natural growth partner” – Mumbai has capital and global network, MP has land, low-cost surplus power, skilled youth, and central location. The CM said over 30% of Rs 10 lakh crore MoUs from GIS 2025 have already hit the ground and announced next Global Investors Summit in January 2027, inviting Mumbai investors as partner country delegates.
