In Ujjain, a Muslim youth caught with a Hindu girl by Hindu Jagran Manch workers was beaten and forced to do sit-ups while holding his ears. He was also made to promise not to take Hindu girls out in the future. Madhav Nagar police have taken him into custody and begun interrogation. This marks the second consecutive day a Muslim youth has been caught with a Hindu girl. Arjun Bhadauria, Ritesh Maheshwari, and Rishabh Sharma, associated with the organisation, tracked Mohammad Shad Sheikh, residing at 5 Number Naka, after receiving information that he had brought a Hindu girl to Freeganj under the pretext of friendship. The workers followed them for about two hours. The youth first went with the girl to a tea-sutta bar behind SS Hospital, then to an ice cream cart in the Tower area, before being stopped near the Freeganj overbridge.
