In Bhind, a person was hit by a vehicle which then fled. The young man lay unconscious on the road. The patrolling police reached the spot in 5 minutes and took him to the hospital. Due to lack of treatment at the hospital, the young man suffered for about 1 hour. A video of him lying on a stretcher has surfaced. When angry people protested, he was then admitted to trauma. The incident is from Sunday night in Deori village, Daboh police station area. The young man sustained deep injuries on his leg and face due to the bike collision. Injured lay in the hospital gallery People said that the ambulance staff put the injured person on a stretcher, left him in the hospital gallery, and left after giving a receipt. By 8:30 PM, the injured person had been admitted to the hospital, but no treatment had started for him until 9:30 PM. For an hour, the injured person lay bleeding in the hospital, but neither doctors arrived nor did the paramedical staff touch him. When the local people’s anger erupted, Shailendra Tripathi alias Raju reached the spot and confronted the hospital management. Only after the commotion did the treatment of the injured person begin in the Trauma Center. Police’s Swiftness, Hospital’s Sluggishness People allege that this case clearly shows that while the police were prompt in reaching the spot in just 5 minutes to save the injured person’s life, the staff of Lahar Civil Hospital stood unresponsive for 1 hour. The police’s speed and the hospital’s sluggishness have raised questions about the entire system. In this matter, when Dainik Bhaskar tried to contact BMO Dr. Vijay Sharma, his mobile was out of coverage and could not be reached. Meanwhile, Raju Tripathi, who arranged treatment for the injured, says “Here, patients suffer like this every day; no responsible person is seen in the hospital. The police fulfilled their duty, but the hospital staff even forgot humanity.” Post navigation Twenty Five IAS Officers of MP Cadre Deputed As Observer For Bihar Assembly Elections BJP deploys leaders from MP for Bihar polls:State In-charge and Organization General Secretary given responsibility of 58 assembly seats across 12 districts
