Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai distributed appointment letters to 233 candidates selected for the post of Laboratory Technician under the Department of Higher Education at the auditorium of Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that transparent and credible recruitment processes have secured the future of the youth of Chhattisgarh. He informed that over 10,000 government jobs have been provided in various departments during the past 20 months.

Shri Sai added that appointments are being made in multiple departments, including the Police, Electricity, Cooperation, Public Health Engineering, and Tribal Welfare Departments. He announced that 700 Assistant Professors will soon be recruited in the Higher Education Department and 5,000 teachers in the School Education Department.

Calling the event historic and joyful, the Chief Minister said that this is the first time such a large number of appointment letters are being issued simultaneously. “This will become a milestone in the making of a Developed Chhattisgarh,” he remarked. Extending congratulations and best wishes to all newly appointed laboratory technicians, he urged them to perform their duties with utmost dedication and honesty.

The Chief Minister further mentioned that the state government has adopted a new Industrial Policy, which is creating large-scale employment opportunities. Under this new policy, the state has so far received investment proposals worth approximately ₹7 lakh crore, and work has already begun on setting up industrial units under several of these proposals. These industries will provide direct and indirect employment benefits to a wide section of the population.

Minister of Higher Education Shri Tankaram Verma, addressing the program, said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, remarkable changes have taken place across all sectors in Chhattisgarh over the past 20 months. Recruitment processes in every department are being carried out with transparency and fairness.

Congratulating the newly appointed laboratory technicians, Shri Verma said that they will play an important role in elevating their respective colleges and contributing to the vision of a Developed Chhattisgarh. He also praised the officials of the Higher Education Department, noting that completing the entire three-phase counseling process within just three months — without any disputes — in a transparent and impartial manner is a commendable achievement.

The event was attended by Minister of Technical Education and Skill Development Shri Khushwant Saheb, Vice-Chancellor of Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University Dr. Sachchidanand Shukla, Secretary of Higher Education Department Dr. S. Bharathidasan, departmental officers, and a large number of newly appointed laboratory technicians.
