Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Announces Development Projects Worth ₹140.96 Crore for Bemetara District

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today dedicated a total of ₹140.96 crore for 47 development projects in Bemetara district. The projects include 27 foundation-laying ceremonies and 20 inaugurations. Addressing the public gathering on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the state government is fully committed to inclusive and all-round development, fulfilling the trust reposed in it by the people. He emphasized that the government’s goal is to execute developmental works across the state with speed, efficiency, and transparency.

The Chief Minister stated that the government is working for the overall development of the state with transparency, accountability, and determination. He informed that rapid progress is being made in the fields of roads, drinking water, healthcare, education, and urban infrastructure, benefiting the public directly. On this occasion, he announced the construction of a barrage on the Shivnath River at village Amora, the establishment of a 33/11 kV power substation at Singhora, and the opening of a middle school at village Basni. The Chief Minister also visited the exhibitions set up by various departments at the venue.

Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is continuously working to make villages self-reliant and empower farmers. He stated,
“We have fulfilled most of the guarantees made by our esteemed Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in a very short time.”
The Chief Minister informed that paddy is being procured at ₹3,100 per quintal, up to 21 quintals per acre. Farmers have been provided bonuses for two pending years, and 18 lakh homeless families are benefiting under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. To empower women, ₹1,000 per month is being provided under the Mahatari Vandan Yojana. He also informed that tendu leaves are being procured at ₹5,500 per standard bag from collectors in the state.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the government is prioritizing villages, the poor, farmers, and women empowerment.
Food Minister Shri Dayal Das Baghel stated that the Public Distribution System (PDS) is being operated with full transparency so that no family remains hungry. He said that the Chief Minister’s vision is to ensure that the benefits of development reach the last person in society.

Member of Parliament Shri Vijay Baghel said that the state government is fulfilling the promises made to the people with complete sincerity and commitment. He added that rapid development works are being carried out in rural districts like Bemetara, providing relief and improved facilities to the general public.
MLA Shri Dipesh Sahu also addressed the gathering.

On this occasion, Food Minister Shri Dayal Das Baghel, Culture Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal, Technical Education Minister Shri Guru Khushwant Saheb, Shri Prahlad Rajak, MLAs Shri Ishwar Sahu and Smt. Bhavana Bohra, Awadhesh Chandel, Shri Labhchand Bafna, Chairman of the Telghani Board Shri Jitendra Sahu, and numerous public representatives, Panchayati Raj members, and local villagers were present in large numbers.
