In the case of fraud amounting to 2.53 crore rupees with Ramakrishna Mission in Gwalior, two accused have not received relief from the High Court. The accused withdrew their bail application, which the court accepted. The case is related to cyber fraud committed with the secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Ashram. The accused had swindled 2 crore 52 lakh 99 thousand rupees on the pretext of digital arrest. The Crime Branch had registered an FIR on April 15. Accused already faces several charges Police had arrested Biswajit Barman, a resident of West Bengal, on April 19 in this case. Biswajit is accused of committing fraud in collusion with Kajal Jaiswal, a former manager of a private bank, and Tushar Gome. Police investigation revealed that the defrauded amount was given to Tushar Gome. Police have also recovered Vishwajit’s Call Detail Record (CDR) and social media chats with other accused. Another accused in the case, Gurjeet Singh, a resident of Delhi, was arrested by the police on April 27, 2025. It is alleged against Gurjeet that the defrauded amount came into his account, which he withdrew through a cheque.
