The state government has given concrete shape to yet another important announcement made by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai.
Administrative approval of ₹78.15 crore has been issued for the construction of buildings for 9 new nursing colleges, which were included in the state budget.

Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary for granting this approval. He said this decision will give a new direction to nursing education in the state and help in creating skilled human resources in the healthcare sector.


Details of the Project

An amount of ₹8.68 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of each institution’s building.
The new nursing colleges will be established in the following districts:
Dantewada, Baikunthpur, Bijapur, Balrampur, Jashpur, Raigarh, Dhamtari, Janjgir-Champa, and Nava Raipur (Atal Nagar).


Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said:

“Our goal is to ensure that every youth of the state receives quality health education and that skilled human resources are developed in every district to strengthen modern healthcare services.
The approval for the construction of 9 new nursing colleges will add a new chapter in the field of health education in Chhattisgarh.
This initiative will not only empower the healthcare system but also create employment and self-reliance opportunities for the youth.”


Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said:
