Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes on the occasion of Chhath Puja, the great festival of Sun worship. He said that Chhath Puja is a festival of faith, purity, and gratitude toward nature, which conveys the message of a harmonious relationship between humans and nature through the worship of Lord Surya (the Sun God) and Chhathi Maiya. The Chief Minister said that every ritual of Chhath Puja — from offering prayers to the setting sun to worshipping the rising sun — reflects the importance of discipline, restraint, and cleanliness in life. This festival strengthens the spirit of community, purity, and family unity in society. He appealed to the people of the state to take a pledge, along with Sun worship, to protect the environment, keep water sources clean, and maintain harmony in society.
