Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav honoured Kranti Singh Goud, a member of the World Cup-winning Indian women’s cricket team. At the ceremony held at the CM House, the Chief Minister presented Kranti with a memento and draped a shawl over her. On this occasion, the CM announced that Kranti’s father, Munna Singh, who is currently suspended from the police department, will be reinstated. He also stated that a world-class stadium will be built in Chhatarpur to promote sports activities. Grand programme in Jabalpur to honour Kranti The CM added that on 15 November, a grand programme will be organised in Jabalpur in honour of Kranti on Tribal Pride Day. At the CM House, Sports Minister Vishwas Sarang also honoured Kranti’s father Munna Singh, mother Neelam, and coach Rajiv Bilthre. During the ceremony, players asked Kranti questions about her preparations for the World Cup tournament. Home district Chhatarpur decks up to welcome daughter Kranti will shortly travel from Bhopal to her home district, Chhatarpur. After the reception, she will visit Gulganj, where she will offer prayers at the Chouparia Government Temple. Around 4:30 PM, Kranti Singh Goud will arrive at her native village, Ghuvara.
