Chief Minister reviews Water Resources Department’s performance in Raipur

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai convened a review meeting of the Water Resources Department at his official residence in Raipur, emphasizing the need to accelerate the pace of ongoing irrigation projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister sought detailed information about all under-construction and active irrigation schemes across the state. He directed officials to ensure that every project is executed with precision and that the speed of implementation is significantly enhanced.

“Irrigation projects are the backbone of Chhattisgarh’s comprehensive development,” Chief Minister Sai said, instructing departmental officers to work with urgency and diligence. He stressed that timely completion of these projects is crucial for ensuring the availability of clean drinking water to citizens and adequate irrigation supply for farmers.
