During the Investor Connect Programme held in Ahmedabad, Mr. Jinal Mehta, Vice Chairman of Torrent Group, met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and proposed major investments in Chhattisgarh. The group has proposed an investment of ₹22,900 crore in the power sector and ₹200 crore in the pharmaceutical sector, which are expected to generate employment for around 5,200 people. Mr. Mehta appreciated the industrial environment and investor-friendly policies of the Chhattisgarh government.
