The 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be released on November 19. More than 10 crore farmers across the country will benefit from it. PM Narendra Modi will release the 21st installment. Under this scheme, small and marginal farmers are given three installments of ₹2,000 each per year (total ₹6,000). This amount is deposited into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. Some states have already received the 21st installment
The central government has already released the 21st installment in some states. On September 26, 2025, farmers in Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh received this installment, as advance relief was provided to compensate for the damage caused by floods and landslides in these states. Additionally, farmers in Jammu and Kashmir also received this installment on October 7, 2025. The remaining states are expected to receive payment in November. Under this scheme, ₹2,000 is transferred to farmers’ accounts in three installments every year. The first installment is released between April-July, the second between August-November, and the third between December-March. 20th Installment Released on August 2
Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 20th installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme on August 2. PM Modi transferred ₹20.84 crore as the 20th installment to the accounts of 9.7 crore farmers from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. PM-Kisan Scheme Launched in 2019
The PM-Kisan scheme was launched in February 2019. Under this, eligible farmers are provided financial assistance of ₹6,000 every year, which is sent directly to their bank accounts in three installments through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Currently, more than 10 crore farmers across the country are benefiting from this scheme. ​
