Police have arrested Hamood Siddiqui, brother of Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui, the chairman of Al Falah University in Faridabad. Hamood was caught in Hyderabad and sent to jail. Hamood is accused of running a chit fund scheme. He promised people their money would double, took their investments, and then ran away. Police had been searching for him for 25 years. Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui is the founding chairman of Al Falah University, where Dr. Umar Nabi, the main accused in the Delhi car blast, used to teach. He is also the director of Al Falah Charitable Trust. Jawad had opened a chit fund company in his brother’s name The police directly refused to say anything in this matter. It is said that in the year 2000, Jawad, along with his brother Hamood, opened a chit fund company in his name. In this, people were lured to double their money and encouraged to invest. Hamood primarily targeted retired army personnel and those working in the MES department. After this, he fled from Mhow with his family. People had also filed a complaint against him in Mhow. Was Posing as a Share Trading Businessman Police say that Hamood was involved in share trading business in Hyderabad. The police meticulously gathered information from Siddiqui family relatives. After this, he was apprehended in a planned operation. The police will interrogate Hamood to find out who he was in contact with after leaving Mhow and what were his sources of income. Father was the city Qazi, step-brother has been to jail Jawad’s family used to live in Kayastha Mohalla of Mhow about 25 years ago. His two brothers also studied here. His father, Mohammed Hammad Siddiqui, has been the city Qazi of Mhow. His step-brother Afam has been to jail in a murder case. Jawad had obtained a B.Tech degree from Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (GSITS) in Indore. Before this, he studied up to 11th grade from Rajeshwar Vidyalaya, a Christian missionary school in Mhow. He gave interviews three times in the Civil Services examination, but could not get selected. NIA team had gone to Burhanpur two days ago 13 people died in the Delhi blast. The NIA team has been searching for doctors and their network at various locations in recent days.
