Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attends “Our Constitution, Our Pride” program on Constitution DayCollective reading of the Preamble conducted Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today participated in the “Our Constitution, Our Pride” program organized at Town Hall in the capital Raipur on the occasion of the 75th Constitution Day. He joined the gathered crowd in the collective reading of the Preamble and expressed his commitment to the Constitution. During the event, the Chief Minister also visited the exhibition organized on Constitution Day, watched a short film based on the Constitution, and took selfies with public representatives to make the occasion memorable. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that India, the world’s largest democracy, has always moved forward with deep faith in its Constitution. The Constitution grants every citizen the freedom to express their views and ensures the right to free expression. He added that the ability of ordinary citizens to reach positions such as MLAs and MPs is a result of the Constitution’s liberal, inclusive, and democratic framework. Remembering the invaluable contribution of representatives from across the country in the Constituent Assembly, the Chief Minister highlighted the significant role played by eminent personalities from Chhattisgarh in the drafting of the Indian Constitution. He said that this historical participation of Chhattisgarh continues to be a source of pride, and the wisdom, democratic values, and nation-building vision of these great leaders will always inspire future generations. The event was attended by MLA Shri Rajesh Munat, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, MLA Shri Sunil Soni, Secretary of the Culture Department Dr. Rohit Yadav, and a large number of intellectuals and distinguished citizens.
