Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 128th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur and described it as a powerful reflection of the nation’s collective spirit. He said the program has become “a festival of national consciousness,” inspiring millions every month.

The Chief Minister praised the Prime Minister for bringing public participation, innovation, and grassroots achievements to the forefront. He noted that the highlights of this episode—record food grain production, progress in honey processing, naval modernization, the growing importance of nature farming, and global celebrations of the Bhagavad Gita—were motivational for the country.

CM Sai emphasized that Chhattisgarh has immense potential in nature farming, and farmers along with young entrepreneurs can lead significant initiatives in this direction. He added that India’s record food grain output of 357 million tonnes includes a major contribution from Chhattisgarh.

The Prime Minister, in his address, highlighted several key developments:

  • The inspiring journey from Chandrayaan-2 to the successful Chandrayaan-3
  • Outstanding performance by India’s women athletes

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh called Prime Minister Modi one of the world’s most admired leaders and said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ successfully connects cultural, social, and national priorities with the public. He remarked that the presence of the Prime Minister in Raipur on the same day made the occasion even more special.

PM Modi also referenced major national events, including Constitution Day celebrations, the 150th anniversary launch of Vande Mataram programs, the hoisting of the religious flag atop the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, and the inauguration of the Panchajanya memorial at Jyotisar.

The inauguration of the world’s largest Leap Engine MRO facility in Hyderabad was highlighted as a major boost to India’s aerospace potential. The Prime Minister also mentioned the induction of INS Mahe and the momentum added to India’s space ecosystem through Skyroot’s ‘Infinity Campus’.

The event in Raipur saw the participation of Cabinet ministers, MLAs, public representatives, and a large number of citizens.
