Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella is currently on a visit to India, with the theme ‘Leading in the New Age of AI’. On Wednesday, Nadella met with Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani. Earlier on Tuesday, Nadella met with PM Modi and they discussed India’s AI roadmap and growth priorities. Following this, Microsoft announced an investment of $17.5 billion (approximately ₹1.6 lakh crore) in India. According to the company’s press release, this investment will support India’s rapidly growing AI ecosystem. The company will implement AI according to the growing population, meaning it will work to make it easily accessible to every person. Nadella Adani discuss AI Nadella also met with Gautam Adani. Both discussed the future of technology, especially AI. Adani said in an ‘X’ post that meeting Nadella is always pleasant. He further wrote that Satya Nadella also demonstrated the AI apps they are developing. His insights about the future of technology are very valuable. As the era of AI is coming and the physical-digital world is becoming one, we are very excited to build 360° partnerships. Job security for more than 30 crore workers Satya Nadella said, “Every time I come to India, I am amazed to see how rapidly AI is changing people’s lives here. Our partnership with the Labor Ministry is a powerful example of this, which is connecting more than 300 million workers in the unorganized sector with better jobs and social security. This shows what can happen when technology empowers people on a large scale.” ​
