Recently, West Bengal saw a significant reshuffle of 13 IPS officers, and Ladakh’s administration assigned new portfolios to IAS officers, aiming for more effective governance. Uttar Pradesh also witnessed changes affecting six IAS and PCS officers, with Babu Lal Meena taking on additional responsibilities in Horticulture and Food Processing. • RECPDCL is enhancing Maharashtra’s electricity grid by transferring the Umred Power Transmission Project to MSETCL.
• Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has appointed Deepak Gupta as its new Non-Executive Chairman, signaling new leadership.
• IFCI Limited has re-appointed Jagdish Garwal as Chief Risk Officer, reinforcing its commitment to strong risk management.
• NLC India and IISc Bangalore have collaborated to develop an indigenous alternative to tungsten carbide for the mining sector, promoting self-reliance.
• NTPC Ltd. proudly contributed a second interim dividend of over Rs 2,666 Crore to the government, showcasing strong financial performance.
• The Airports Authority of India (AAI) and the Assam government have signed an MoU to develop five new greenfield airports, promising improved connectivity and tourism.
• Engineers India Limited (EIL) and Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) received prestigious awards, recognizing their excellence and contributions to the nation.
