Bhopal Cyber Crime Police team under the leadership of ACP Shailendra Singh Chauhan was Honored at the “106th SKOCH Summit 2026” @ New Delhi

Madhya Pradesh Police has achieved a major achievement at the national level for its excellent, innovative and effective work in the field of public awareness, digital governance and cyber crime control. Madhya Pradesh Police was awarded three prestigious SKOCH Awards during the 106th SKOCH Summit 2026 held at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi. This achievement is a strong testimony to the leadership, guidance and coordinated efforts of the department under the Director General of Police Shri Kailash Makwana.
Police Commissionerate Bhopal to “Prevention and Detection of Cyber Crime” The SKOCH Award was awarded in the Police and Safety category for the project. The innovation, technological strengthening and result oriented work done by Bhopal Police in prevention and investigation of cyber crime was appreciated at the national level. Setting up of Cyber Help Desks and Technical Cell in all 37 police stations during the year 2024-25, training of 779 police personnel, 24×7 cyber patrolling, effective use of National Platforms (NCCRP, JMIS, CEIR) and “Investigation Camp” The development of the platform was the mainstay of this success.
These efforts of Bhopal Police resulted in a 33.6% reduction in cyber fraud complaints and a significant decline in the total fraud amount. At the same time, there was a manifold increase in the amount frozen and returned to the victims, which is a direct proof of police quick action, technical efficiency and bank coordination. The honour was received by Additional Commissioner of Police Cyber & Crime Shri Shailendra Singh Chauhan for this achievement.
